Most of our students , whom we like to call ‘Durgadevi Scholars’, have done well academically and to our great satisfaction are doing well in their chosen field.

She started her swimming career in 2001. She has participated in various National and International events. She has won over 80 medals and many awards notably “Shiva Chatrapati Puraskar” of the Maharashtra Govt. She was a member of the Indian Aquatic Team at the Common Wealth Games, New Delhi. The Trust provides financial support for her training in India and abroad.


Aishwarya has studied in Jawahar Vidyalay, Anadur: a village about 50 -60 kms from Solapur. She had scored the highest marks in our Scholarship examination held in 2008-09. A consistently good student, Aiashwarya secured 99.64% in the 2011 SSC Board examination by virtue of which she has got admission in Fergusson College Pune. She aspires to join IIT & her dream is to become a space Scientist in NASA.


Sunil hails from a village Malgaon(kh) near Baramati. His parents are farmers. An extremely meritorious student, Sunil has done his MBBS from BJ Medical College, Pune in 2010. He was assisted by our Trust throughout his MBBS course. He is currently doing his internship and aspires to specialize in surgery.


He belongs to Village Borgaon near Barshi. His parents are farmers. A determined and bright student. He completed his MA in English Literature in 2009. His love for audio visual media inspired him to do M.Sc. in Communication Studies. The Trust assisted him in his M.Sc. programme. He has acted and directed plays & short films. He has interviewed prominent theatre and film personalities. He intends converting this work into a book. He has rejected offers of a salaried job to pursue his ambition of film direction and acting. These are but a few success stories. In their own way each of our scholars has carved a niche for himself.
